God bless America

I came to the states three years ago . I knew nothing back then as I came from a spoiling family and a luxury lifestyle . This country taught me how to be tough , patient , independent and strong . It taught me how to be a real women and to face the new challenging life I have to live . I was amazed by how strong American women are . They inspired me to appreciate my role as a mother, wife and a person !

Now I'm not the same person I used to be . Here I learned to do everything my self and believe in me . There is nothing impossible but there are many things that hard , still not hard enough to let me down . I'm a wife, a mother, a student and a working mother who appreciates every moment with her family and beloved ones . Yes .. I miss Kuwait every single day but I'm more than grateful for what this experience is giving me . I enjoy every day in USA and keep learning !

God bless USA in its national day and happy 4th of july to all of my American friends and readers !!

Home sweet Home

Hi friends,

There is no place like home . After 9 days on a road trip where we drove 8 hours to New York and visited Atlantic City NJ , Baltimore  MD and Washington Dc finally we are back to Blacksburg , Virginia!

I've really missed the smell of grass and the quite in here . We arrived yesterday and the first thing I did this morning is taking a walk around the farms nearby .

Nothing is more beautiful than nature and simplicity . No matter how humanity improves and grows , nothing is like a peaceful moment when you enjoy the beauty of nature and feel safe and clear !

I wore a very comfy farmer's chic look . I've been looking for the perfect dungarees for s a while and finally got mine .. It's too cute , isn't it ?

Just taking a break of all those florals and colors I've been wearing recently . Some pieces are just priceless and never go out of style . I know these Navajo print pants were very popular last season but I still fall in love with them back again every time I wear them. They can make a statement out of any simple outfit and can magically be dresses up or down ! I wore them here with a simple while Top, a studded denim vest and sneakers . A lovely casual outfit that I can rock all the day and still feel in style .

I Love it when it snows . The whole world goes trendy white . The sun looks shiner and the people feel happier .
Every time the snow covers our backyard I wear my winter clothes and run outside . I swing , climb the slide and start acting like a child. A part of me is still not adult yet .. That is my heart !

I've been dying to get the Isabel Marant sneakers that are out of stock every where and let's face it .They are out of my budget too !
Thanks to god and to something called "Ebay" I could find this version . It's not cheap but still affordable . The color , design , quality and material are just perfect . It's absolutely what I wanted without breaking the budget :)
As I said before the weather is just amazing. I took those pictures and changed my outfit twice and took more and more shuts .
It's not always sunny in Virginia :)

I really love the weather these days. That white layer of snow laying on the grass. That shiny warm sun . It's my favorite time of the year where the winter is almost going and the spring is knocking the doors :)
When I was at school, this was my favorite look . University jacket with a stylish cut , Converse sneakers and a cute funny hat .
I was trying to copy my self in this look . I think I was a very stylish student :p
